FMVT Test Stand
Entela, Inc. has developed a patented, 6-axis, pneumatically actuated vibration machine specifically for Failure Mode Verification Test (FMVT) applications. The test system is capable of delivering a uniform random frequency range of 2-5000Hz and a total displacement of 4 inches, the FMVT Machine is capable of activating repeatable failure modes in a wide range of areas such as automotive, telecommunications, lab equipment, medical devices, aerospace, electronics, and furniture. This is in contrast to traditional "air hammer" machines that are limited in their applications to electronic boards and their associated components.
V I Engineering, Inc., a National Instruments Select Integrator and Premiere Alliance Member, was contracted by Entela to develop the software application for their FMVT Machine.
